  Summary

If you had told Hermès a week ago he would be the the emperor's second son personal slave, he would—despite his usual calm and reserved demeanor—have laughed so hard in your face he might have died.

Die he almost did. That is when he, in utter desperation, ran away from his then master, only to be saved by the most unexpected person.

  or

A possible back story for Domitian‘s and Hermès‘ relationship

(This fic is not supposed to romanticize slavery or abuse and views it critically)
