Summary
While holidaying the Mediterranean on the MSC Lirica cruise ship, Jane and her son Matthew navigate incestuous desires for one another. Back home, Matt and Jane join her Aunty Lee at her Mt. Eliza home where Matt is learns of the Plachetta family's history of incest. Lee acts on desires, creating a tempest that the three must sail through together. Lee reevaluates her role as Jane and Matt's aunty and she is introduced to an exclusive collective of women who engage in mother-son incest. Through matriarchs like Wendy and Hilde, Lee learns about the secretive Jocasta Resort. Meanwhile, Jane and Matt want to commit fully to their incestuous relationship but, like young Oedipus at the crossroads to Thebes, the couple struggle to solve the riddle of the right path forward. Meanwhile, Lee secures a condo at Jocasta Resort-Great Barrier Reef, where mothers live openly in consensual, loving, incestuous relationships with their sons. Jane and Matt find safe harbour with Lee on Jocasta Island were, with the support of Carol and the Jocasta staff and community, they wed and then fall pregnant with their first daughter, Antigone Maia Plachetta.
