Summary
When Sam and Dean find out hunters are committing suicide in Seattle, they come up against a new type of monster -- the Nymphs, who are the little siblings of angels and demons. They were supposed to be neutral, but according to Cas, they're dangerous. He's concerned, and the brothers aren't sure they can work the case alone.
This takes place post BMoL, but it's a bit canon-divergent from that, since Eileen and Cas are still alive and Cas has his wings because I can't bear to write him without them. This is the first in a series.

Summary
Sam and Dean go on a hunt. Before they can head home, they realise there's another problem in town: something a little too familiar and a little bit more than they want to take on -- at least without backup and a plan. They call Cas and a new friend in to help.
The case doesn't go as expected, and they learn critical new information.
There is transphobic/homophobic language from an abusive character, canon-typical violence, and a reference to suicide in the case (nothing graphic) but mind the tags and take care of yourselves : )

After their recent confusing cases, Sam seems quiet, so Dean decides they need a road trip. Three cases, three towns, and two brothers who are bad at communication.
*This is part of a series. The overarching problem they need to talk about is specifically related to the events of the prior fics, but otherwise this fic and the cases in it stand alone. For those from the series, that means the Nymphs don't actually appear in this one.

Summary
When Cas notices a disturbingly familiar trend, he brings the Winchesters into a case that will reveal a large threat. They leverage their connection with the Nymphs for back-up, travel to the coast, and end up spending more time debating ethics than actually fighting anything. The real threat isn't here anymore, but the trio knows it's out there now. They won't be able to avoid it forever.
