Summary
Starfleet xenobiologist Hannah Winters wasn't supposed to have to worry about dying in the void of space, at least no more than was to be expected when signed on. But the ISF "Endeavor", supposed to be a revolutionary new human design ten times better than the alien models already in service, started malfunctioning a few hours into the journey. First, communication stopped being viable. The an airlock malfunctioned, ruining half their supplies. Then, too late, a crewman realized they'd set their trajectory too wide, leading their captain to make the desperate call to land on a barren exoplanet, once a colonized world, in the hopes that the distress beacon left there could be used to communicate with base.
Tensions are high, supplies are running out, and the entire alien ecosystem is literally poison. They might be able to synthesize some edible rations, but, as it happens, there might be a more...natural solution.
Or, in which the best possible solution to imminent death is to suck your hot captain's tits.

Summary
Vivianne Reiner hadn't meant to forget the holiday party. But she had, and now she's late, exhausted, already full from Christmas dinner with the family, and forced to put up with people she hates and a boss she despises, all in a shitty reindeer costume that'd been in storage for at least fifteen years. Her boss's wife is acting a little off, too.
At least there's eggnog...with Pepsi?
