Summary
With the open sky ahead and the promise of ascension guiding them, Anubis and Bell set off beyond the Aviary Village, traveling through the vast realms and gathering light as they go. Each land is radiant and full of life. Rolling meadows bathed in golden light, shimmering lakes reflecting endless skies, and towering spires where the wind carries the songs of those who came before.
Bell embraces the journey with excitement and wonder, eager to test his wings and push forward to Eden. Anubis, though quieter, follows alongside him, studying the world with cautious curiosity. They meet other travelers, learn about the history of the world, and step further into the journey set before them.
Yet, the deeper they travel, the more Anubis begins to sense there's something hidden beneath the world's beauty. Why did the lights they collect look like children? Why were the murals left on cave walls depicting some sort of trial ahead? And why were there random broken statues of others like him littering the grounds the closer they got to Eden's mountain, each one in ruin?
As they draw closer to their purpose, he begins to wonder if the path they were meant to follow is truly what it seems.
