While Mike didn't exactly lie to Harvey during the interview, he didn't necessarily tell the whole truth either. He found that working with Harvey only needed the basics; Harvey never asked about his personal life, and he never volunteered more then what was necessary. Mike had one more deeply guarded secret that only a select few know about--a pair of twins boys from his teenage years.
Harvey Specter was a lot of things but stupid wasn't one of them. He knew about Jeremie and Raphael for a long time. It wasn't in his personality to pry, and every in Mike's to be open about anything except his children. He respected that. But, he also secretly hoped to be a bigger part of Mike's life in a romantic way.
Another secret brings these two men closer together.
