Summary
Peter's life is great, apart from the dead parents and uncle of course. He is doing great in school, except maybe in Spanish, he has awesome friends, just MJ and Ned but who needs more friends, and he has the Stark internship. So of course a normal afternoon of interning at the penthouse can't change that right?

At last the elevator dinged, the doors slid open quietly and Peter entered the penthouse.
Strangely, instead of the silence Peter was expecting, with both Mister Stark and Miss Potts being absent because of work, the penthouse was filled with the soft droning of, even stranger, the four PM news. “Mister Stark?” Peter said, carefully making his way into the living space of his mentor.
The blinds in the main living area were open, which was weird considering every time Peter had entered the penthouse when Miss Potts and Mister Stark were gone, they had been closed. Strange, Peter thought as he carefully started moving towards the living area. Suddenly the sound from the TV disappeared and the person on the couch called out.
