Summary
This story was the first work of fanfiction I ever wrote. I posted it to LJ on July 18, 2008. The premise came from a discussion I had with friends about RTD's penchant for writing off characters in spectacular ways. I firmly believed that if GDL decided he wanted out, or if "management" decided to write Ianto out, the only satisfactory way to do it would be to let him walk away with his dignity intact and minimal outward angst. Softie that I am, I immediately started thinking what would happen if the guys met again somewhere down the road.
