"I missed you," Phainon said as he tilted his head to give Mydei better access. "Eternity isn't nearly long enough."
Mydei hummed, and Phainon felt his lips curl into a small smile against his skin. "Something we can finally agree on."
"Six millenia...feels like we're just getting started." Phainon turned his head. It was still at a weird angle to steal a kiss, but something about the sloppy awkwardness of it made it all the more charming.
"We are," Mydei hummed against his lips. "Eternity is a long time."
