Summary
Even after all those years, they still knew each others’ bodies almost as good as their instruments, knew exactly how to coax the most delicious sounds out of the other, and the thought sparked a soft, warm feeling in Jaskier’s chest.
Jaskier spends the winter at Oxenfurt, accepting a temporary teaching position in order to keep a low profile while Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer are in hiding. At the university, he runs into an old rival, an encounter that brings more feelings to the surface than Jaskier would’ve expected. One would think that he’s gotten over Valdo Marx after all those years.
