She knew her granddaughter often faced harsh words, especially because she wasn't a Vidyadhara, not fully at least.
At least Mother Seraph knew that Baiheng could keep Xingguang's spirits up. If not her, then Xingguang's mate, Dan Feng, could.
Hopefully, when she leaves, things will be better.

Dan Heng was beginning to regret letting Sunday stay on the Express but he has a feeling he isn't the only one.
No one else objected so, at the time, he didn't reject it either...so he thought nothing of it. ...Until he realized that Sunday was a little TOO friendly with Stelle.
