Summary
When Aki finally reached his door, he was more than a little surprised to raise his hand to knock, only to blink as the door swung open to reveal a sleep-addled and maybe a bit pissed off Harumi. Yeah. Pretty pissed off.
Harumi took Aki in.
Aki’s brown eyes looked muddled and dark. Puffy red circles that somehow managed to highlight the exhaustion carved beneath them. His hair, normally straight (artificially, Harumi had learned.) began to curl up at the ends where the rain had soaked him. He looked more than a little high, with red eyes and snot residue– telltale signs of his friend’s crying fits. And his shoulders were hunched inward, like an invisible weight was crushing him, and he didn’t know how to set it down.
"You," Harumi began. "Are a freaking idiot."
Or, Aki has a fight with his sister and finds himself at the only place (person) he can think to go

Summary
Akihiko Siraishi has it all: perfect grades, a talent for sports, and a charismatic smile. In reality, however, he’s an awkward mess doing his best to meet expectations.

The door clicked shut, loud enough that Harumi was sure the Suisha students must’ve heard.
Harumi hit the back of his head against the door before looking around for another spot to hide–
He blinked.
The music room was bigger than Harumi had realized. A row of guitars and another piano up against the wall across from him. Chairs in a disorganized mess all over the room, and instruments that Harumi couldn’t quite name in his panic, sat beside them. Like the bell had just rung for lunch, and the students would be back for their waiting instruments in an hour.
And in the midst of it all sat none other than Akihiko.
In unison, they spoke in shock.
“Harumi?!”
“You play guitar?”

Akemi whirled around, eyes wide with a relieved smile before it died down when she realized it mustn’t have been who she was hoping for. But just as quickly, the light came back as she grabbed Harumi by his shoulders. Water seeped out of his clothes and onto Akemi’s hands with the force of her squeeze.
“Haru! Oh, thank God. Do you know where he is?”
“Where who is?”
Akemi’s eyes were frantic, shaking him slightly as she said, “Aki!”
Harumi’s stomach dropped.
