A road trip with a dead woman’s ghost in the backseat.
Benny Louna (they/them) and Rumi Maverick (he/him or any pronounce) haven’t been just friends in a long time, but no one’s brave enough to say it.When Benny inherits the house of their dead poet aunt, the two set out in a half-working car with a sketchbook, a lighter, and too many unsaid things. They stop in haunted museums, fight about nothing and everything, share motel beds and broken snacks and cigarettes that taste like goodbye.
This is a story about grief. About touch. About the slow, terrible way love becomes inevitable.
