Summary
Christopher and Eddie move back to LA, and they’re making the living arrangements with Buck work, but after one drunken night Buck hits breaking point. He decides it's time to start apartment hunting. Eddie reacts like a normal friend, obviously. Then Eddie gets hurt at work.
Buddie Week Day 1 Prompts: Sharing a Bed, Friends to Fiancés, “I’m in love with an idiot.” I read “I fell in love with an idiot” and thought of Hot and Stupid by Beth McCarthy, so it’s slightly inspired by that.

Summary
To everyone around them it was only a matter of time, but you couldn’t tell them that. The two idiots that were practically married, who chased off each other's partners, who were coparenting to the point that they didn’t think twice when strangers referred to Chris as Bucks son. Honestly, they had no clue how they had made it this long without realizing it, but no they seemed just as clueless as the day they met. But really it was Eddie moving that set things in motion. Bucks spiral kicked in before Eddie had even left.

Summary
Eddie returns to LA after tying up loose ends in Texas, only to find his relationship with Buck strained and distant. Buck moves out of Eddie's house abruptly, leaving Eddie feeling abandoned and confused. At the fire station, Buck grows closer to Ravi, further alienating Eddie, who struggles with jealousy and frustration. When Eddie befriends Alex, a charming stranger, Buck's jealousy becomes evident.
