Summary
Ilsa laughed and extended one bare leg so the tip of her heeled shoe grazed the hem of Alanna’s dress pants. “You’re cute, but I’d like to speak to Max now,” she said. “I need that information on the buyer, and I prefer to do my negotiating with someone who has a little more… experience.”
—
It’s two years before the events of Rogue Nation and the Syndicate’s newest agent, Ilsa Faust, is swiftly rising through their ranks. Meanwhile, elsewhere in Europe, a young Alanna Mitsopolis is learning everything she needs to someday inherit her family’s criminal empire. And for those in the know, Max, the elusive broker, has two unique gifts: a capacity for anonymity, and for corrupting susceptible agents.
When an unexpected invitation calls Ilsa to meet with the broker in person, she learns just how susceptible she really is.

Summary
Ilsa leaned forward over the desk and plucked an oyster from the two that remained in front of Alanna. Her voice was low as she sat back in her chair. “You’ve thought of me?”
Alanna blushed, stilling. She had, so many times. Often while humping a pillow.
Then she jumped slightly, and a bead of liquor spilled from her oyster, dripping down between her fingers. Ilsa’s foot had come up under the table and brushed against her leg, dragging up from her ankle and catching beneath the slit in her dress so that her dress shoe traced bare skin. She sat as still as she could, but Ilsa didn’t shift away.
Something had changed.
—
One month has passed since Alanna lost Ilsa to her mother’s strange affections, and the sight of them together hasn’t left her mind. Going behind Max’s back to trick the agent into joining her at a party, she is determined to take what’s hers.
Little does she know, Ilsa is here with an agenda of her own—and a simmering attraction she can’t ignore.
This fic is a sequel to Pretty Young Thing.
