The mer at first glance wasn’t a good match for his brother. Dick was slim, his tail was fairly small, but this mer’s tail was obviously muscular and bigger than Dick’s had ever been. His chest was also large, with rounded breasts on it. But then Jason looked closer. His skin was the right colour for his brother, his hair was the right colour and texture, his facial features were shaped just like Dick’s. And there was a bite mark around his nipple exactly like Dick’s had in the photo they’d found.
And hadn’t Dick been mated and bred according to that paper? Dick was an omega now, right? The condition he was in, with the oversized chest and tail were common in the first year after giving birth. The tail grew larger while carrying and would stay big as long as the omega used it and needed the strength it provided, which was common when caring for a pup. And the chest was expanded until the pup was weaned. If Dick had only recently gotten pregnant in that article photo, then his pup would be about six months old.
Bruce frowned. “I don’t–”
“It’s Dick,” Jason said, placing his hand on his father’s shoulder and squeezing. “He had a baby, dad.”
