Summary
“I’ve heard there’s been some negotiations regarding Kiri. Word says that they have a new Mizukage.”
Kushina snorts at that, shakes her head and looks like she’s considering banging it on the table until it breaks.
“Sure. Sure.” She waves money in the air, asking for some more ramen. She doesn’t drink in front of Kakashi, because she considers him a "child" and therefore a "bad companionship to drink with".
“Is he that bad?”
“Deadlast of his class,” she says, laughing hysterically. “I would’ve never considered him to be a skilled politician, and yet, here we are,” she spreads her arms, “a world full of fucking surprises!”
Rin survives Kakashi's chidori turning her into a shish kebab. They both try to pick up the pieces of innocence they left behind. Also, there are strange things happening around them.
Or; after the finale, Obito gets yoinked and thrown back in time, seconds before Rin's death.
Or, or; Obito's about to become everyone's problem. Especially Kakashi's.

Summary
Kids are the joy of life, cousin Mikoto once said, presenting him with the ugliest, wrinkliest, most eyesoreful infant possible. Itachi opened his eyes then, and, almost as if he could read Obito’s thoughts and decipher the grimace of disgust on his face, started crying and screeching like a captured bijou - Obito would know, he heard that sound many times by now.
So that was a fucking lie.
He forces himself not to comment on the armoury that the kid’s bed had become - he can allow Sasuke to keep some paranoia, as a treat - and instead tugs at the covers.
Three more shuriken and a kunai fall to the floor.
“I’m happy right here. Can you teach me katon?” Sasuke tells him, as if Obito isn't going through every thing he knows about anger management in his head right now.
“Kid, seriously,” Obito rubs at his temples, “take it from me, only having training as your hobby will lead to a burnout,” or, to becoming a terrorist that gets thrown into the past against his will.
Or; after the fight with Kaguya, instead of dying, Obito finds himself in the Uchiha compound week post the massacre.
He ends up taking care of Sasuke.Or; Obito repents by becoming a parental figure.

Summary
Rin is staring at both of them in disbelief.
“It’s been one day and you’ve already corrupted him.”
Obito offers her a sheepish smile; judging by her state, she’s been training with Minato while waiting for them to arrive.
“There was this old lady—“
Kakashi nods, readjusting his mask. His face is covered in scratches.
“And then we had to help a feral cat.”
“The cat wasn’t feral, you barked at it.”
“Maybe it deserved to be barked at, have you considered that?”
Obito looks at him, and considers his options.
Maybe he made a mistake by being nice to him and calling his dad a hero. The bratty jerk was easier to deal with than a clingy six-year-old.
This is the same person who will one day become one of the most feared shinobi.
The knowledge of the future feels like a curse once more.
Or, after dying in the Fourth War, Obito wakes up in the past. Problems transpire.
