“So?”
“With Liam,” Stiles added, as if that helped explain anything.
Theo blinked, confused.
Stiles stared back, before turning to Scott. “They’re fucking hopeless.”

Summary
Liam jogged off toward the line of carts by the door, leaving Theo with the mountain of pumpkins and a cashier who looked one step away from asking if they needed a forklift.
“You doing a farm or something?” she asked, scanning the first pumpkin and watching the numbers climb on the screen.
Theo glanced at the total, winced, then leaned on the counter. “Apparently, I’m going broke instead.”
The cashier laughed, shaking her head. “Halloween’ll do that to you.”
Theo muttered, “Boyfriends will do that to you,” but she didn’t hear it over the beeping scanner.
