Summary
Robert had been listening to the Sea ever since he was old enough to read from the Book of the Deep. Unfortunately, that privilege had set a target on his back—literally. Now stranded on unfamiliar shores, he makes a “temporary” career as a night fisherman; but after several people worm their way into his life, it seems his place of residence may not be as temporary as he thought.
