Of note is the way the Dream League functions in this interpretation/headcanon of the Umamusume world, the way skills are canonized, the adherence to real-life racing years, and the strict adherence to making sure the Umamusume world has a consistent internal logic that can sort-of explain how students of various years get to study in the same school, etc.;
