Summary
Another AU where Hollow follows Hornet to Pharloom to rescue her- except that they don't catch up until she's about to enter the Citadel.
And Hornet certainly looks like she needs their help, but considering they just climbed up the Blasted Steps with no gear, they're not exactly in any condition to protect her.

Summary
The Lord of Shades can sense how many people Hornet failed to save and how much it weighs on her. They decide to give their sister a gift: a second chance.
After passing out while trying to bring Lace out of the void, Hornet wakes up by the broken cage in the Mosslands. Time has reset to the beginning of her adventure. Hornet remembers the previous timeline, but it seems that nobody else does.
With the knowledge that she now holds, Hornet tries to do things differently and save more people, while wrestling with the fact that Ghost doesn't hate her after all.

Summary
I have made what feels like an absurd number of concepts for Silksong character swaps. Some are surprisingly plausible in canon, while others require characters being an entirely different species than they are. Since I love to share my brainstorming with other people, here they are!
I'm just kind of dumping all my thoughts here whether they make sense or not.
