Summary
Gale of Waterdeep arrives at the convent of the Quiet Veil to study the fall of Netheril and reclaim the favor of his Goddess, but the fondness he ends up feeling for the silent cleric with frosted-over hands takes him completely by surprise.
Scripture-keeper Eirael Frostflow serves Lady Magic with her Day-Silence. When Mystra's chosen is not the pious religious figure she had hoped, she must choose whether to continue helping him in his search for dangerous Netherese artifacts, potentially risking her own faith.
As it turns out, her greatest sin may not be misunderstanding her goddess' plans for her. It may be her desire to be near Mystra's chosen. And if she is unable to speak with him during the day, their meetings must take place in the hours sunlight does not touch.
Together they must find out: are love and service the same? And what happens when the goddess they both claim to love is absent?
OR: Basically, Bridgerton in register with magic, religious angst, fey festivals instead of balls, and, eventually, mind flayer and lich problems.

DEPRECIATED WORK - BEING REWRITTEN
Gale Dekarios, archmage and Mystra's chosen, arrives at the convent of the Quiet Veil to study the fall of Netheril and reclaim the favor of his goddess. He doesn’t expect to feel fondness for a silent cleric with frostbitten hands.
Sister Eirael serves the Lady of Spells in day-silence, penance, and prayer. Mystra's chosen reveals himself to be less than pious—and entirely capable of disrupting all three.
But as days pass and conversations deepen, Eirael finds herself tempted—not just by the man, but by the mirror he holds up to her faith. And when Gale begins his own descent into arcane obsession, they must navigate gods, guilt, and the dangerous magic that keeps drawing them together.
* * *
“You weren’t at supper. Do you deprive yourself of all of life’s many joys, Eirael? Or is it just conversation and food?”
And romance, he perhaps intends to suggest. But wisely, he leaves it unspoken.
“My life is very enjoyable,” I reply, a touch too defensively. “Or it was. Then I ended up nannying Mystra’s chosen. Did you know he mocked the sisters’ ability to tend a fire?”
I pause, then tut. “Rather unbecoming.”

Summary
Fenrik was supposed to kill the bugbear.
Wyll stole his kill. It’s only fair the warlock dies for his blunder—but somehow, Wyll gets him instead.
Wyll was prepared to let the depraved little cretin bleed out in the mud…
But he looked so pretty on his knees.
Worshipful. Bloody. Whispering how handsome he was.It isn’t love. It’s not even hate.
Whatever it is, it’s glorious—and neither of them can figure it out.* * *
“Wyll,” he says, immune to my venom.
“Will? Will what? Will you leave me in peace?” I string along thoughtlessly. “Will you kindly fuck off?”
His chuckle is infuriating. It makes my neck itch.
“My name—Wyll. W-Y-L-L.” He pauses, sizing me up. “In case you do end up being as awful as I think you might be. Better to have a name to carve into a headstone.”
“Charming you think I’ll bury you,” I say without teeth.
He doesn’t flinch.
He rubs his hands together before crossing his arms over that obscene chest.
“Fenrik,” I say tersely. “No one cares if you spell it right. By the state of your nightclothes, I assume you’re lettered enough not to butcher it.”Series
