Summary
Once upon a time, I dreamt I was a butterfly, fluttering hither and thither, to all intents and purposes of the butterfly. I was conscious only of my happiness as a butterfly, unaware that I was myself.
Soon I awaked, and there I was, veritably myself again. Now I do not know whether I was then an omnic dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am an omnic.

Summary
Once upon a time I dreamt I was a moth.
My species belonged to group of insects that includes all members of the order Lepidoptera that are not butterflies. Moths were previously classified as suborder Heterocera, but the group is paraphyletic with respect to butterflies (suborder Rhopalocera) and neither subordinate taxon is used in modern classifications.
Moths are primarily nocturnal, which was a perfect time to dream about becoming one.
