“What. Do. You. Want?” I repeated myself, choosing to not dignify him with an answer.
“I wanted to see you. Is that really such a crime, Stiles?” He asked with the same amused voice. I huffed, and just kept staring at him. Why can’t he choose to bother literally anybody else? Did I win the attractive jackass lottery today?
“Yes,” I quipped. Theo didn’t even try to bite back his laugh. I tried to ignore how nice it sounded. It was perfect, just like him. How is this my life?
“Okay, well, I wanted to ask you out. There’s a show tonight, with a band I think you’d like, if you don’t listen to them already. Sometimes, going to a loud ass show and screaming along, does wonders for your stress levels… and Sweetheart, you could do with something to cut all of that tension you have.” He explained patiently.

“Well, I guess that answers that question.” I heard a very feminine voice, coming from behind Theo.
I pulled back and let my head thump back against the door. Theo growled and visibly tried to get himself under control.
“Has anyone ever told you that you have the worst timing, Lyds?” I panted. Theo huffed a laugh in agreement.
“Theo posted your relationship all over social media. I wanted to make sure that you were a willing participant. I knew that you liked him, but I also knew that you hadn’t figured that out, yet.” Lydia explained, stepping closer to us.

Ever since Lydia told me that Theo and I were mates, I could feel it. It's like the fact that my mind finally being aware of it, has me wanting him all over me. Everything I've read has told me that once we mate, it'll help settle the burning want I’m feeling for him. We had sex last night, but he didn't knot me, and we didn't exchange bites. Once we mate, it's not something that can be undone. It also doesn't change the fact that he's it for me. I know I'm not being rational about this, but I don't think I can be.

“Liam, what did I tell you about bothering our alpha. Let him rest.” I heard Lydia's prim voice reprimand the youngest member of our pack.
“What are you doing here, Pup?” Theo breathed, still sounding as exhausted as I still felt.
“What alpha?” I asked, trying to sit up. Theo was still draped over me. We hadn't even bothered to put any clothes back on.
“I told you we should have had this conversation with him before, Sweetheart.” Peter mused.
“Why is everyone in my bedroom?” I mumbled, still trying to get my brain to cooperate with me.
“Stiles, you've been our alpha, since before Scott left. Who else could it be? He left for vet school, and didn't even consider what would happen to Beacon Hills. Even Jordan defers to you.” Lydia replied. I blinked, and looked around the room. Was I really that oblivious?
