Most teenagers grow up without their parents really noticing. They either become secretive and withdrawn, or open up in positive or negative ways. Their thoughts, beliefs, and even lifestyles change quietly until the final result suddenly shows — and that’s when parents start complaining about how their child talks or looks different.
But if they weren’t present, who are they to judge?
Sure, some families are understanding, but no one’s perfect. And it’s not always the parents’ fault — there are always two sides to every story.
Or…
it’s just high school — a bit of angst, a bunch of teenagers, and adults trying to deal with their own lives and those teenagers (*ゝω･*)

Summary
To be a soldier means carrying priorities that will always come before your own life. And when peace finally comes, you’ll find it difficult to think of yourself as a priority again.
But regardless, you have to adapt to life beyond gunfire and the loss of your own kind in order to live a happy life.
Even if adapting means becoming a teacher.
