Crack fic so good there’s actual crack in it!
Our favorite characters Shrike, Aina, Beebs, and Meizan (plus random others) are in a fast food rivalry set in the hellish realm of Malin.
Excerpt from Chapter Eight:
Beebs’ flicked the mic of his bluetooth McDonald’s drive-thru headset. He’s saying something like “Hellow? Hellooow?” But the caller hangs up on him like that. Wow. *snaps fingers*
Okay, but Beebs dials a different # and an actual person answered this time.
“What.” The voice says in a dead pan tone.. “Wrong Number. Is that you, Aranel?”
Beebs shakes his head in disgust, “I don’t want to know anything going on in your personal life. But do you know Aina? She wrote this number as an emergency contact.”
“…And is this an emergency?”
“Well, you see, Aina didn’t come in this morning and we need you to cover her shift.”
