"The 5th anniversary of Hizashi Yamada's and Shouta Aizawa's first date is coming up and both parties couldn't be more miserable. The pair that was once so close had drifted messily apart from each other over the many years, and despite the fact they both long to have a secure and innocent relationship with each other again, they just both hold too much pent up frustration and resentment over how thing left off to work towards it.
In 4 acts, read as these two lovesick idiots work through said pent up emotions in the days leading up to the Anniversary, all while each act starts off with a glimpse of the dreaded date back in their UA days.

Inspired by Gigi Perez's "Please Be Rude", (duh), which to me is a song about unending love despite how cruel it can be sometimes. Please keep in mind that this fic is being written from the romantic perspective of an Aroace person, so it won't be your typical "make up and kiss" or "make up and fuck" sort of deal.
