Summary
"You know," Visi said, cutting them off, "You could always try putting your flat ass on the line in a different way..."
Robert rolled his eyes. Courtney had mellowed out a lot since Shroud - and he had his theories about who was responsible for that - but she still had a sense of 'humor' that would have sent HR running to the hill if they ever decided to actually report her.
"Yeah, how so?" he asked, deciding to play along.
"Gamification," Visi said, like it was obvious.
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"Well, you're already obsessed with the leader-board, why not give a little reward to whoever is on top from the team at the end of the week?"

Summary
"Yeah, that's more like it," Flambae breathed, when they broke apart. "Mecha Bitch."
Robert swallowed, feeling the muscles in his throat working against the man's palm.
"You know, that 'bitch' would sit a lot better if you ever actually managed to beat me," he said, knowing that he was literally playing with fire. And not really caring.
Flambae's nostrils flared.
"And what if I want to fuck you? And what if I want to fuck you up?" he said, his fingers spasming around Robert's neck before relaxing a fraction. He took a deep breath, visibly trying to center himself. "I want you out of my fucking system, but I don't... I don't actually want either of us to get seriously hurt," he admitted.

Summary
"Sonar?" he asked, just to have something to say.
"Oh, he's sulking cause I didn't let him win," Mal said with a shrug, leading him deeper into the apartment. There was a large, dark, moss green couch and a big TV that was playing some nature documentary. "But he decided to go on a two day marketing workshop instead of a bender, so I'm still proud of him."
"Nice," Robert said again. "So..."
With Flambae, at least he knew what to expect, more or less, but now it was different. For all he knew Mal might have just wanted to chill. He didn't want to assume. Didn't even bring condoms.
She put her beer down on a mahogany side table and turned around, suddenly standing very close.
"I want to try something, if it's okay with you," she said seriously, voice a bit cagey. "But I also don't want you to overthink it."

Summary
There was also a projector set up, making the whole opposite wall into a display, and the bat man... no, wait... man bat. Whatever. Sonar motioned for Robert to sit down, throwing some of the pillows to the corner to actually make space for him. There was a coffee table in front of the couch that had a whisky on ice waiting for Robert, the glass opaque with perspiration.
"Sit down, have a drink," Sonar said eagerly, getting in front of the projector and clearing his throat. "I have a proposition to make."
"I can see that," Robert said, trying to sound a little less dumbfounded than he actually felt. "What is this about?"
Sonar fixed his tie again - there was nothing wrong with it - and turned off the lights, pressing a button on the remote to start his presentation, just as Robert was taking a sip of his whiskey. It was pretty fucking good.
The title card read:Why you should let me fuck you in megabat form:
An argument against 'Within reason'To his credit, Robert only choked on his whiskey a little.
