And also because the plate technically belonged to him, given it was from his cupboards. “You could stay with me while you look for your own apartment. I’ll even help.”
“I could kiss you,” she replied, starry eyed. She really could, if he’d said yes, because he was so, so smart, and also because he looked really kissable. “I’m serious.”
Dustin had only arched a brow in response, unmoved. She probably imagined the tint of his cheeks.
