Notes:

I cannot emphasise enough how much I do not understand the people who write DT as a good character
the reading of them here (as fundamentally selfish, manipulative, egotistical, & absolutely unwilling to change their core personality no matter whose face they're wearing) is the first and the last way that I will ever see them
(& yes I think that's a bit of a shame for the only canonically enby character, but, eh. it is what it is)
the presentation of that personality here is undoubtedly exaggerated for the point of the story, but compared to canon it's really realllly not by that much at all, I think
