Summary
Dally has been carrying a marriage license in his jacket pocket for three months, and he's running out of patience. Pone has her reasons for dragging her feet—most of them having to do with not believing in the magic of dates on calendars—but Dally's never wanted anything the way he wants this: not the wedding, but the proof.
