Summary
“Ka—Kacchan,” he gasped in surprise, and wow, did that sound weird in Bakugou’s voice.
“Ugh, don’t say it like that,” Bakugou cringed. “I can’t believe I’m stuck in your loser body.”
It was strange watching himself. It was like an out-of-body experience, and well, it literally was.
“My body is nice,” he argued.
“Sure, it is,” Bakugou said sarcastically. “Tch, and I have to go sleep in your room next to your All Might shrine.”
Deku silently pointed at the bookcase with only All Might merch on it.
“You shut up,” he snapped, face flushing. “That—That’s different!”
Or, when Bakugou and Deku get hit with a body-swapping quirk, they learn a little bit more about each other's struggles.

Summary
“Cold?” Bakugou teased, eyeing Deku.
“Yeah.” He couldn’t let Bakugou figure out what was happening. Or any of the others, for that matter. Maybe he could tell Todoroki since they had always been close, but Deku didn’t want anyone to know how weak he really was.
“You good, man?” Sero asked, leaning forward to look at him better. “You seem a bit pale.”
“It’s the lighting,” Deku deflected. He knew Sero was right; he could feel the blood draining from his face as the pain continued on. It had spread from his arm to his entire body. His arm and back were the main things bothering him, but his entire body was throbbing with a dull ache. Advil didn’t do jack shit, and neither did Tylenol.
“I dunno. You look awful. No offense.” Kaminari looked at him, his brows furrowed in worry.
“Yeah, if you’re not feeling well, you can tell us,” Kirishima pressed.
“I’m fine, guys, really. Just tired. That’s all.” Part of him felt bad for lying to them, but it was better than telling the truth.
“If you say so.” Kirishima obviously didn’t believe him, but he thankfully dropped the topic.

Or, Deku has a flare-up and tries to keep it to himself.

Summary
When his heart wouldn’t stop racing despite having been in bed for hours, Bakugou knew he had overdone it in training. He hated that. For the first time in what felt like forever, he’d been keeping up with everyone. He thought he’d finally gotten better. Would it always be that way for him? How was he supposed to become the number one hero if his heart flipped out anytime he used his quirk?
Bakugou would never admit it out loud, but he didn’t like having the episodes alone. It was easy to spiral, and his mind would wander, wondering if he’d die alone. Again.

Or, Bakugou struggles with the effects of nitroglycerin on his heart after the war, but Deku is always there for him.Series

Summary
Deku felt his phone buzz, and he quickly glanced at Bakugou to make sure he wasn’t paying attention.
You have new test results available.
Inhaling sharply through his nose, he angled his phone away from Bakugou and clicked on the notification.
You may see these results before your provider has had the opportunity to review and discuss these results with you.
Deku didn’t care. He knew it wasn’t a good idea to view the results while out with his friends, but he’d been trying to figure out the cause of pain for months, and he couldn’t go any longer without knowing.
His eyes skimmed through the file, searching for the “impression” section. Osteoarthritis.
The world seemed to slow for a moment, and the chatter from his friends sounded miles away. Osteoarthritis. At least it wasn’t Rheumatoid arthritis, but still, it was arthritis, and Deku was only thirty.
——
Or, At age thirty, Deku gets diagnosed with osteoarthritis. His life was finally perfect. He was a pro hero again, and he was dating his best friend, Katsuki Bakugou. If he ignored the truth, would his life stay the same?

Summary
“Bakugou,” Recovery Girl scolded as she grabbed his shoulders to steady him. “What are you doing?”
“Bakugou?” he echoed in confusion, but his voice came out wrong. “I’m not…”
Deku lifted his hands, and he would recognize those hands anywhere.
Either he was having a strangely vivid dream, or he and Bakugou had somehow swapped bodies.
“You’re Midoriya, aren’t you?” Recovery Girl sighed.

Summary
“Deku,” Bakugou called as he knocked on the door. “Are you sure you don’t want to come to the gym with us? We’re—”
“I already said no,” Deku cut him off, barely opening the door. His usually wide eyes were narrowed in a glare.
“I know,” Bakugou huffed. “I was double-checking since you never pass up an opportunity to train.”
“Well, I said no today. Thanks for inviting me, Kacchan.” Before Bakugou could say another word, the door was shut in his face.
“What the hell was that?” Kirishima whisper-yelled.
Deku had been, for lack of a better term, a bitch lately. Which was odd. “Bitchy” was a word people would use to describe Bakugou, never Deku. For someone who was usually the sweetest person ever, he had a temper lately.
“I told you, he’s been a complete dick,” Bakugou sighed.
——
Or, when Deku begins to act uncharacteristically angry, Bakugou is determined to figure out the cause. He has a guess as to what could be troubling Deku, and he hopes that he's wrong.

Summary
Shane’s head swiveled on the pillow, and he wriggled his hips down on a particularly tight squeeze. Something tightened in his back, and suddenly, he was clutching Rozanov for a different reason. “Ah—”
Rozanov went still. His grip slackened, and the hold he had on Shane’s waist became more steadying than anything. “Hollander?”
All he had to do was breathe, and the pain would pass. He pinched his eyes shut and dug his fingers into Rozanov’s shoulder hard enough to bruise.
“Hollander,” he called, worry seeping into his tone. He touched Shane’s face with his clean hand. “Talk to me.”
Shane grabbed hold of his wrist like a lifeline. “I’m fine,” he ground out. What could he say to play it off? How could he not worry Rozanov? “I… um… almost came?”
--
Or, Shane ignores every warning sign from his body because he doesn't want Rozanov to leave. If he admits to Rozanov that he's in pain, he'll call it off and go back to his hotel room. What other choice is there but to endure?
Rozanov finds out and stays anyway.
