Summary

Summary
I stand in front of the house that both my ex-fiancé and child live in. It’s been years since I had to let both go and it’s been years since I have had those issues that made us step out of sync. Before I had the courage to go up to the front door and knock, my body took a couple of deep breaths in and out to get the nerves out. Once I had most of the nerves out of the way, I made my way to the door. At this point I had no idea if I should still knock or not. I felt out of place. I felt as if they did not need or want me there.
