Francois cradled Ryusui's head in their lap like the two did so long ago. And as they carded through soft blond locks, he curled inwards like he did when he was small. Wrapped his arms around their waist with increasing desperation as they held him close. Something was clearly wrong.
Or: none of these motherfuckers got to have an appropriate reaction to their LITERAL DEATHS in canon. I am here to remedy that because everyone needs a good cry sometimes.
