Summary
Wemmbu felt his lungs and heart squeeze. At first, Jaden didn’t even get his lips, pressing his own somewhere near his nose, then cheek and chin. Wemmbu wanted to laugh at his face, but felt paralyzed.
He heard Jaden exhaling with something like relief as soon as he found his mouth, and felt how his chapped lips got caught in between cracks on Jaden’s, scratching them. Felt the lingering taste of wine in his mouth. He wasn’t sure if he was imagining it, but it tasted more metallic than it should.
The air around them didn’t feel so fresh anymore, Wemmbu felt like he was locked in a stuffy room with no ventilation, his hands grasped Jaden’s wrists and still made no move to shove him off.Series
