Summary
Frodo has failed. The One Ring is not only still whole and undestroyed, but it is also back with its maker. Frodo and Sam have been captured, and languish in a prison cell in Barad-dur. Normally, this would end in their torture and slow deaths, but the ever generous Lord of Mordor has a new purpose for Frodo.
