Taking place after Season 12 episode 2: Mama Mia

Sam, Dean and Mary are now at home, but Sam still thinks that all that has happened is in his head. Thinks that this is either Toni, who has cast him, yet another spell, or Lucifer, to whose Cage Sam has returned since Toni has killed him.Dean sees what is going on, and tries to convince Sam, much like he did five years ago, that he is not in the Cage anymore, and that he is not hallucinating.
Sam seems to be convinced at first. He shares a warm hug with his mother and goes to his room. But there, in the darkness, lingers fear and doubt...
Can Dean help his brother once more? Can his love, his care and his tenderness drive the shadows away?

Taking place after Season 12 episode 2: Mama Mia and before episode 3: The foundry.
Sam gets sick, really sick, and is burning up with fever. He is falling, falling in an endless dark Pit, drowning in a sea of fire, unable to take in a deep breath.
But then, a light shines from the shadows, a hand grabs him, pulling him out of the dark Pit, and cool lips touch his own gently. And then Sam knows, that beyond the darkness and the fire, Dean is waiting for him...Or, a story in which Sam gets sick because of Toni's torture with the cold water, and Dean takes care of him. Mary struggles to understand what kind of relationship her boys have and Cas actually helps Dean with his own way.

Mary shuts the door behind her, leaving Dean and Sam stunned and alone. While Sam is hurting, he can understand his mother's decesion. Dean on the other hand can not, and so he shuts himself away from his brother. Sam however, wants to help him, and tries to talk to him... That however, leads to Dean's explosion of anger, and an ugly fight between the brothers. During that fight, Dean says hard words, and then, breaks down...

Stand-alone, one shot.Sam and Dean are in the bunker, and Dean is still mad and hurt due to Mary's departure. Sam goes into his room and tries to make him feel better by offering sex. But when the older man pushes Sam away, the young Winchester comes to the simple conclusion, that his brother got what he wanted, what he needed from Amara. And what he needed, what Dean needs, is no him.
Seeing what is happening, Dean takes matters into his own hands, and makes sure, that Sam knows that Dean will always love him. Plain and simple.

But here things are a little bit different, so here is what I think that happened after the boys trapped the soldiers, until they found Mary and Cas. We know that Dean is the one who always sacrifices everything for his family, but is that the case this time as well? And if not, how did the scene where Billie comes to reap one of the Winchester would go?
