When Pure Vanilla woke up, the first thing that came to their sight was a field of fresh blooming flowers, various flowers intertwined with one another. (Someone was beside them, whispering soft words that they couldn’t seem to recall—)
But as they blinked, there was blackness that filled their eyes. It was as though someone had robbed them of their sight, forever blinded them to the beauty of the world they were made in. (Something deep inside them seemed to long for something they weren’t sure what they had lost—)

Even powerless, he's not one to roll over and accept his defeat so easily. If there are means to make steps towards his goals, he will take them. Even if he's quite possibly signed himself up for failure, given he's promised to ensure the other Beasts will also stay their hands when the war with Dark Enchantress comes to a head. Inasmuch as it's likely an impossible task to undertake, there are worse things he could be attempting in order to assure his continued freedom.
