“You…you cannot!” Jane fumed, her hands clenching into fists, clutching her skirt as she stamped her foot.
“Why Jane? Why can I not marry her?” Sebastian scoffed, bemused at her tantrum.
“Well…she is a Twombley for starters!” Jane exclaimed.
“Jane, Miranda should not be judged by her mother and sister’s actions.” Sebastian replied. “Imagine if your father treated your mother with the same regard…”
“You just…you cannot!” Jane snapped, becoming even more flustered as Sebastian stepped towards her. He was standing ever so close to her, she could feel his breath on her lips before he even spoke, his eyes staring intently into hers.
