Summary
“Tìyawn? I have found…something, in the barracks,” So'lek sounds confused, which in turn confuses Tamtey, but he has more than enough knowledge of human machinery and weapons to determine if something in a base is dangerous. So this must be something else entirely.
She brings her hand to her neck to activate the microphone on her comms, “What is it? Can you describe it?” She continues flipping through abandoned data pads while she awaits his answer.
“Circular? It is mostly…plastic, I think it is? There is a hole at one end, it is softer,” Tamtey nearly drops the data pad she’s holding when she realizes what he’s describing, but he keeps talking, “It seems very odd. I do not know what it could be used for.”
(or, tamtey and so'lek make an...interesting discovery in an abandoned RDA base, and they take full advantage of it.

Summary
Txe’kalin has already been thinking of her mate, but now, knowing he’ll be home within a day and a half, he’s all she can think of. His hands, his voice, his mouth, his cock, Eywa she can’t stop thinking about how badly she misses him.
She growls in frustration and tosses her head to the side, catching sight of some of So’lek’s belongings strewn off to the side of the meditation mat. Among them are some of his clothes, pieces he’s been meaning to clean and put away around their many responsibilities.
Reaching a hand towards the pile, she snags the first item she touches—a tewng, made for his acceptance into the Sarentu. He wears it for her on occasion.
In a moment of weakness, she brings it to her nose. It still smells like him, like clean sweat and…arousal.
(or, so'lek has been on a mission in the upper plains for the better part of a week, and txe'kalin misses him enough to smell his dirty laundry about it. he catches her, of course, and shows her how bad he missed her in return.)

The doctor's eyebrows shoot up in surprise.
A'tean knows he's far past the typical presentation window, having just turned twenty seven, but So'lek explained that extreme stress and trauma is known to suppress hormone cycles and delay presentations. A'tean, had been classified as a beta in all of his health records when his teens came and went without so much as a hint of alpha aggression in his behavior or omega nectar in his scent. But trauma and stress often only delay natural cycles until Na'vi feel safe enough in their environment and relationships for their cycle to begin again. Usually, because it implies they're in a safe environment to have children.
A'tean has never felt more at peace than he does with So'lek, but he didn't think it would trigger this.
(or, a'tean's presentation has been delayed for years due to trauma and stress from TAP. after defecting and beginning his relationship with so'lek, he slowly becomes comfortable enough that his body takes it as a sign and triggers his first rut.
he's worried, but so'lek takes good care of him.)

A'tean is warm when he wakes up.
He wakes calmly, slowly, with a small hum and a content sigh at the feeling of So'lek at his back, his hand pressed to his chest and his breath soft on the back of his neck. Their kurus are still linked together, so they must not have moved much in the night.
Which means A'tean slept the entire night, wrapped up in So'lek's arms, and woke with the sun streaming in through the open entrance to So'lek's camp.
It's so ordinary, a perfectly normal way to begin his day—which is what makes it so unexpected.
(or, a'tean normally has nightmares when he stays over with so'lek, and usually leaves in the morning. after some time and much effort, he goes an entire night without a nightmare and thinks maybe, maybe he can stay this time.)
