Summary
“The other clones call me Childfies!” Childfies said brightly. Clones didn't usually get “proper” names, though he didn't get why, all the characters in the books he read had those different names, and the clones had what defined them followed by -fies, but he'd never found the courage to ask his creator about it. He figured that was just something unspoken and he'd get in trouble for asking.
Maybe it was just because they weren't really people.
The clone didn't respond. Childfies could guess why. It probably didn't get something to be called before being discarded. It was something Childfies could sympathize with, since the same had almost happened to him.
(He didn't know why his creator spared him, but maybe it was better to not question it.)
It was okay, though. He's sure it’ll speak again! Soon!

Childfies meets a discarded clone after getting separated from Janitorfies. It goes as well as you'd expect.
