“Promise?”
Seb huffs, sending staticky sounds down the receiver. “Sure. I promise.”

Summary
“Charles, for fucks sake,” he chokes out between laughs, wiping at his eyes and putting the phone to his ear once more. “What the hell is wrong with you? You’re nuts if you think I’m getting back in a car again, let alone a Ferrari.”
“Come on,” Charles wheedles, sounding just a little put out by Seb’s reaction. “I know you miss racing. It would only be a short season!”
“A season where one of the races is 24 hours long, and the others are, what, six at a minimum? What exactly do you think is short about that?” Seb snorts. “Besides, I’m pretty sure you need more than two drivers for Le Mans.”
“I know,” Charles replies, and Seb wilts at the return of surety to his tone. “That’s why I asked Lewis too.”
Lewis?
That’s news to him.
