Summary
Four years from now, Cody was absolutely certain they'd look back at today with fond, wonderful, beatific memories. The only problem was the present, and the desperate, impatient prayer that those four years would hurry the hell up and get here already.
Hell, at this point, Cody would take the next two future hours as quickly as he could get them. He very much doubted that Roman would be able to continue his glowering for two more hours straight, but if there ever was a list for the things his husband was tenacity would top that list.
“We need to leave,” Roman said, finally tearing his gaze away from the screaming object of his discomfort.
Cody tore his own eyes away from the anomaly in front of him. “Leave?” he asked gormlessly, his brain feeling like it had been replaced with static. He let his head twist back to the plastic-and-fabric carrier sitting on the cold concrete of the floor. “And then what happens to the screaming baby?” he queried listlessly.

Summary
“Roman—” Cody broke away from the kiss with a sharp, breathless smack, his eyes dark with desire.
“What? What is it now?” Roman asked, his eyes slipping shut in sheer anticipation as Cody’s hand drifted lower, grazing the waistband of his athletic shorts.
“The school thing,” Cody insisted, his voice a strained whisper.
“Now? That is seriously what you’re thinking about right now?” Roman gasped slightly as Cody’s hand finally dipped beneath the elastic, palming him through the thin barrier of his briefs with agonizingly slow precision.
“It is kind of important,” Cody murmured thoughtfully, completely aware of the leverage he held.
“Fine! I’ll check out the schools tomorrow,” Roman surrendered completely, willing to promise just about anything to urge Cody along so they could get on with the actual touching.

Summary
“Daddy, we have a problem,” Oliver announced gravely.
“Is it a solvable problem?” Roman asked, mirroring the gravity.
There was another long beat where Oliver’s thoughtfulness made a brief cameo, before confusion marred the look.
“I guess so. Tomorrow is International Women’s Day, Daddy, and I don't have a Mommy or a woman.” he said, his explanation waffling along, as innocent and oblivious as a child could possibly be about the concept of women and mothers in general.
Roman’s finger froze en route to pushing the ignition button as a sudden grimace overtook his previously placid face before he could compose himself.
