Summary
Latte Thanutchon Chankaewarmon is not the kind of man who lets people in. Reserved, direct, and carrying an air that keeps most people at a careful distance, he moves through the world on his own terms. The rare glimpse of cheekiness or warmth he allows belongs to a small, chosen few, and even then, only for a moment.
Kim Pongsaton Sittipan, Domundi’s newest artist, is everything Latte is not: open, genuinely kind, and warm in a way that seems almost effortless. As their worlds collide, Latte finds himself up against something he's never quite learned how to handle - a person who simply refuses to be kept at arm's length.

Summary
Latte was quiet for a long moment, keeping his gaze locked on Kim. "I am scared, P'Kim."
"Of what?" Kim asked quietly, gently cupping Latte's face with his hands.
"I don't know how to go back," Latte said in almost a whisper, and the tears came again. He let his weight lean into Kim’s touch, the warm palms felt so gentle against his flushed, tear-stained cheeks. "That's the part that scares me the most. I've already forgotten how to be the version of myself who didn't have this..."
"...Who didn't have you."

Summary
Kim is the God of the Hearth, of the warmth that holds against the cold of winter, of small fires kept alive through the cold nights. His is a minor dominion. Seasonal, sparsely worshipped, and bound to the turning of the year.
Latte is the God of Winter, Lord of Snow and Ice , of the cold that does not end. His is a greater dominion. A major God feared more often than he is loved, and his power endures beyond the boundary of the seasons that birthed it.
They are antitheses of each other. To the rest of the Gods, lesser and Greater alike, that should have been the whole of it. Two forces meant only to hold winter's balance, and parting once that balance held. Nothing owed beyond that, nothing shared beyond that.
Yet it is written nowhere that the God of Winter cannot want the Hearth.
