“Are you certain that you must go?” she spoke, pulling her lips apart as they were stuck. Her request dripped with fear and worry.
“I must go, I owe everything we have to the avatar, I should show up when he needs me” he sighed. Looking out the window, his gaze fell on the air balloon which awaited his presence.
“I'll write to you, I swear, besides I'll be back within a few days” he said before lowering himself down to her bump, pecking the fabric lightly.
It was odd—this sensation—he leaves for trips every week or so but something unknown settled into the linings of her stomach inviting anxious thoughts

Summary
The sun slowly set as orange and red streaks decorated the sky. Cold winds gusted with the late evenings as turtleducks slowly walked out of the fountain and towards their nest.
The family, now exhausted and well fed with pretend tea, mung bean cakes and peach blossom pastries laid together bundled together against the old tree.
Still a mother, a father, a daughter and an extinct dragon.

It was spring and izumi insisted on a tea party.
