When Aang enlists the help of a Northern Watertribe man Zuko cannot help but feel weary. The past had proven that you couldn't always trust good intentions and people lie. When Zuko notices this man has a strange and somewhat insidious interest in Katara, Zuko knows he cannot leave in good faith. Especially not with Katara and Aangs relationship on the rocks.

Updated: new prologue
A sequel to Northern Tactics but can be a stand alone as well.Katara had been content for the past few years as she made a name for herself as a Pro-Bender. As the first official season ends she has to take time off. But when you know the avatar, free time is never really free.
An illness affecting benders requires her attention and her first patient is none other than the daughter of her star crossed lover. The princess of the firenation. Zukos little one.
Not being one to turn her back on anyone, she readily agrees.
She expects their to be tension and some awkwardness. What she doesn't expect is to be thrown into a dark, chaotic mess with spirits, weapons and ghost from her past.
A story full if drama, a love triangle, smut, angst, romance and everything that makes me happy.
