Summary
Dani and Jamie are married and run a successful architecture and renovation business together. Somewhere along the way, life got in the way of their marriage. Jamie becomes completely consumed by work. None of it comes from a lack of love for Dani—in fact, Jamie is doing it because she wants them to have a stable future—but in the process she starts neglecting their present. After months of feeling like she's competing with Jamie's work for attention, Dani eventually convinces herself that Jamie simply doesn't love her anymore.
So Dani asks for a divorce.
On the very same day, Jamie receives an offer to purchase and renovate a huge old house in the middle of nowhere. It's the kind of project that could change their lives financially, and since they're still business partners, Dani reluctantly agrees to help complete this one final project before they officially go their separate ways.
