Down, down, down the ship’s winding corridors, Eva led Ryland, hand in hand at first, but she broke the connection as to not arouse suspicion from the crew or the team. When she finally stopped at a door, he nearly ran into her. This room definitely wasn’t his office or quarters, and neither was it her office. When she opened it, it was far too small to be her quarters, and it was stacked with various boxes for the ship’s needs. A closet.
The realization clicked into place, and Ryland waited only a split second when she entered the room to rush in after her, locking the door behind him.
