“You're making it sound like war,” Will breathes back, and somehow that rings so deep between them.
“Always is with you.”

Summary
“Shit.” Will uses his other hand to brush his forehead off. They’re so messy. Mike likes them like this, pictures so reminiscent of their last summer in Hawkins. Matching heartbeats and their hair damp with lake water. Mike was a mess all summer. He tugged Will right with him.
“Say what you wanted to say,” Mike rasps.
“I want to fuck you so bad,” Will finally admits. “I think about it all the time. I’ll think about it in class and when I’m at my job and whenever I see your face.”
