Summary
Draco Malfoy is faced with a dilemma.
He is called from his studies in the Library and confronted with an alarming situation in the drawing room of Malfoy Manor.
The bodies of three Stupified Snatchers lie on the floor and he is asked to identify the three prisoners bound together in the centre of the room.
It's a (slightly modified) scene we are all familiar with, but Draco reacts impulsively to change the course of events at the point when Hermione Granger is singled out for a special little chat with his dear aunt Bella.
Draco is not prepared to stand by and watch as the subject of his secret hidden admiration and affection is subjected to torture.

I am grateful to one of my readers who suggested I may have been a little harsh on Pansy, so I've created these bonus chapters to give her a little redemption too.
